What’s Happening at New Hope
Lift High the Cross Summer Luncheon
LADIES– Please remember to SIGN – UP in the Narthex for Lift High the Cross Summer Luncheon. The luncheon will be served by WSCS. We ask only for your presence. This will be Aug. 9thfrom 10-12. The speaker will be Mecosta County Sheriff Brian Miller. A free will offering will be taken. Proceeds will go to the Victims Service Unit.
American Red Cross Blood Drive
The American Red Cross Blood Drive will be in the gym at New Hope Church this Friday, July 25, from 11:00 am to 4:45 pm. For an appointment visit Red Cross Blood.org and enter sponsor code: New Hope or your zip code or call 1-800-RED CROSS. Of course, they will take walk-ins, too. The Hoppers in Concert at New Hope Church
The Hoppers will be in concert on Sunday, July 27 at 4 pm. Doors will open at 3 pm. The Hoppers unique blend of harmonies and song choices have created a legacy of musical excellence embraced by leading pastors and event organizers. Known as America’s Favorite Family of Gospel Music, they are favorites on the Gaither Homecoming videos and tours, and their recordings frequently land at the top of the BILLBOARD sales charts and The Singing News radio charts. Mike Hopper,the youngest son, has come off the road to care for his parents, Connie and Claude Hopper. As a result, with Claude and Connie’s blessings, Dean and Kim Hopper, along with their daughter Karlye, have moved forward as the latest configuration of The Hoppers. They are continuing the family’s long legacy as one of the prominent families of Gospel Music. Tickets will be on sale at the Welcome Center on Sundays before and after the service. Memorial Service for Gary Berg
Services for Gary Berg will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at New Hope GMC. Visitation will be at 10 AM and the service will begin at 11 AM with a luncheon to follow.
Services for Mavis Hadder
There will be a viewing for Mavis Hadder at Janowicz Funeral Home Monday, July 21,2025 from 4-6 PM. The Memorial Service will be Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM with a luncheon to follow at New Hope GMC.
Volunteers Needed
We are in need of volunteers in some areas of the church. We need people to sign up to be Sunday morning greeters, coffee hour hosts/hostesses. Please consider volunteering. Many hands make light work!
